Underdogs Map

This is Underdogs Map — an interactive map of the most promising startups from Central and Eastern Europe. There are a lot of great companies from Ukraine, Poland, Baltics, Balkans, Hungary and other countries — my goal is to map them in one place!

I am doing this as part of my Underdogs Newsletter — a newsletter dedicated to stories about great founders and startups from CEE and Ukraine. Subscribe to Underdogs here.

Today we start with the most famous companies in CEE countries, currently in operating.

Who do we showcase here

Only companies who have a connection to the CEE region — either built from here, have Eastern European founders, or have offices in CEE.

About me

The project is built by Michael Perevoznyk, Associate at Flyer One Ventures — founder-led VC fund, backed by 30+ tech entrepreneurs and operators. Before F1V, our team built one of the largest tech companies in Eastern Europe with 1B users. We invest $300k-$1.5m at pre-seed/seed in Ukrainian and CEE entrepreneurs.
