Get in the driver's seat 

 

As a Quality Engineer, you will be working on Supplier Quality, Internal Quality and Customer Quality responsibilities in different stages of the project from development until series production. 
Working across Design, Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Supplier Management and Production teams. You will cascade quality requirements, ensure they are understood internally and externally and define robust Quality Planning and robust controls, ensuring high Quality standards.

Where you’ll make an impact 

 

  • Build comprehensive quality strategies aligned with main project milestones and initial customer requirements. 

  • Collaborate with engineering teams in the release process to define process parameters and criteria, ensuring supplier process capability meets strict product requirements. 

  • Cascade Customer Requirements to suppliers and provide guidance to meet them.  

  • Drive Supplier readiness and part quality preparation (Maturity Level Assurance / PPA) and carry out online & on-site supplier validation audits and quality planning. 

  • Facilitate robust root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions for both supplier and internal quality issues, within expected timeframe. 

  • Define and implement control plans for incoming inspection, in-line inspection, and robust End-of-Line (EOL) testing at the supply base. 

  • Perform pre nomination and Supplier Process audits. Conduct critical quality review meetings to maintain strong relationships with Customer Program Quality. 

  • Exercise uncompromising quality control by utilizing your authority to stop any process or product delivery in the event of non-conformity. 

  • Support the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance. 

 

What are your core competences 

 

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of proven engineering experience within the automotive industry. 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Automotive, etc.) with bilingual fluency (English is mandatory). 

  • Demonstrated ability to set up and lead Quality Planning activities and manage robust EOL processes and lead Customer/Supplier audits.  

  • Deep understanding of GD&T, risk analysis (FMEA), Special Characteristics management and Measurement System Analysis. 

  • Strong knowledge of quality frameworks and norms, specifically ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. 

  • A proactive, autonomous, and team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. 

  • Strong communication skills.

Salary range: €37 500 – €57 500 gross per year (depending on experience)
