As a Solution Architect you own the end-to-end solution design for strategic Ataccama customers across EMEA & APAC — translating business requirements into scalable, high-performance designs on the Ataccama ONE platform, and acting as the technical authority across delivery, presales, and customer success.

Your Challenge

  • Own the overall solution design for your assigned customers — from initial architecture through ongoing iteration across the customer journey.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance designs on the Ataccama ONE platform, aligned to industry best practice.
  • Act as the technical authority on architectural guidance, solution design, and agreed deployment patterns for your accounts.
  • Support presales on complex POCs/PoTs and early solution scoping, and customer success on health checks, risk mitigation, and issue resolution (firefighting).
  • Build reusable best practices, accelerators, and robust documentation, and enable the wider Services and presales teams.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering — staying close to roadmap and releases and feeding back customer-driven requirements.
  • Is this you?

  • Passionate about data management and AI-driven innovation, and energised by solving complex enterprise challenges.
  • Experienced in customer-facing technical roles — solution architect, technical consultant, or services presales.
  • A trusted advisor who can simplify technical topics for business stakeholders and lead workshops with confidence.
  • Proactive and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership — you make things happen without waiting to be told.
  • Comfortable running several engagements simultaneously, with excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal English, and willing to travel occasionally.
  • Based in the UK (preferred) or wider EMEA, with eligibility to work in the region.
  • Your must-have skills

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing technical or architecture role within data management.
  • Hands-on expertise in Data Quality, MDM, and/or Data Governance tooling, ideally in complex, diverse enterprise environments.
  • Strong data management foundations — relational databases, data warehouses and lakes — with an advanced level of SQL.
  • Strong logical/conceptual data modelling and solution design skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Exposure/experience in XML and SOAP/REST/JSON.
  • Bonus knowledge

  • Experience in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Insurance, or Life Sciences.
  • Experience working for a software vendor, SaaS provider, or professional services organisation.
  • Familiarity with Ataccama or similar enterprise data platforms.
  • Exposure to Hadoop/Spark, NoSQL, XSLT, Hive, Kafka, Snowflake, or Databricks.
  • Python or other programming languages.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, code management and upgrades, and Unix/Linux.
