What You’ll Do
As a Data Scientist at DataSentics, you’ll help businesses solve meaningful challenges using data, creativity, and code. You’ll work closely with our clients to understand their needs, design smart solutions, and turn ideas into working AI products. You’ll collaborate with a team of engineers, analysts, and project managers to:

• Define the problem: Understand the business context and the client’s challenges.
• Design the solution: Explore data, create predictive models and algorithms using Python, PySpark, and other modern tools.
• Test it: Build POCs, run experiments, and validate model performance.
• Deploy it: Help turn great models into real-world, production-ready systems that make a daily impact.

Our Projects & Technology Stack

• We work on real-world challenges across diverse industries like banking, insurance, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce, using a wide range of customer data sources, including call center logs, customer segmentation data, IoT sensors, and web analytics. These are just a few examples, the scope of our work is broad and constantly evolving as new data and technologies emerge.
• Tech we love: Python, SQL, Pandas, PySpark, Databricks. We deploy on Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• How we work: Small, focused teams (2–5 people), agile workflows, and strong collaboration between engineers, analysts, scientists, and PMs.
• Remote-first culture: Work where you're the most productive, at home, in the office, or a mix of both. Most of our work happens remotely, with optional offices in Prague (near Muzeum metro) and Brno (ImpactHub).
• Flexible working: Part-time roles available starting at 30 hours/week.

What We’re Looking For

• Command of Python and a good grasp of data science concepts.
• Experience with machine learning tools and working with real-world datasets.
• Comfort working in a cloud-based and collaborative environment.
• Curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to get hands-on with data.
