About this role

About us

Text builds AI-first customer service products: LiveChat.com, ChatBot.com, HelpDesk.com, and Text.com, used by 30,000+ businesses in 150+ countries. We believe customer service is a growth engine, not a cost center: every conversation is a chance to convert, retain, and expand. That's the product story you'll be selling.

We're a profitable, product-led company. No layers of approval, no growth-by-committee. You'll own real budget, real metrics, and real decisions from day one.

This role needs real depth in two areas at once: website/product positioning and paid acquisition, plus AI used fluently as a daily working tool. Your job in one line: turn positioning into pages, pages into trials, and trials into pipeline.

What you'll do:

  • Move the self-serve funnel: signups → activation → paid conversion. You'll be measured on trials, pipeline, and CAC, not activity.

  • Drive product-related website sections: page structure, UX flow, and conversion performance, working closely with UI Designers, Web Engineers, and the SEO Manager.

  • Plan and run paid campaigns (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) tied to trial and pipeline goals.

  • Pick and defend channel bets across performance, SEO/AI search (GEO/LLMO), lifecycle, and content, backed by data, not opinion.

  • Ship end-to-end without waiting: write the copy, build the landing page, set up the campaign, read the numbers. Design and engineering help you scale, not unblock you.

  • Use AI agents and workflows as a workforce multiplier for research, audience analysis, message testing, and brief creation. We expect one t-shaped marketer with the right tooling to outproduce a traditional team of three.

  • Turn analytics, experiments, and competitor/market research into sharper value propositions, with clean tracking (GA4, GTM, UTM) so you know exactly what's driving results.

  • Work with Product and Customer Success to keep message-market fit tight with the buyer journey.

  • You're a strong match if you:

  • Are genuinely t-shaped: you look at full funnel, not just your favorite channel, with proven depth.

  • Default to shipping: you'd rather run an imperfect test this week than a perfect one next month.

  • Think in outcomes (trial, pipeline, CAC) and change your mind when the numbers say so.

  • Write copy that sells: clear, sharp, and human, in a landing page, an email, or a LinkedIn post.

  • Are AI-native: you already use AI tools daily to research, build, and analyze, and you're curious how far that goes.

  • Take ownership of results, not tasks, and operate well in ambiguity: it's the job, not a bug in it.

  • Hard skills & experience:

  • 5+ years in growth marketing at a B2B SaaS or product-led company, with direct ownership of a revenue or pipeline metric.

  • Deep expertise in both core areas, with a track record you can show:

  • Paid acquisition: hands-on running Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

  • Website conversion & positioning: building and optimizing product pages and UX flows that convert.

  • Working fluency across the adjacent channels: SEO + AI search (GEO/LLMO), lifecycle, and content-led growth.

  • Comfortable in GA4, GSC, GTM, and Looker Studio; Amplitude and marketing automation (HubSpot, Customer.io, Braze) are a plus.

  • Working knowledge of the full SaaS funnel: enough SQL, tracking, and attribution understanding to self-serve answers.

  • English at a professional writing level, this is a must; you'll produce customer-facing copy weekly.

  • What good looks like (first 90 days):

  • Day 30: You know our funnel better than we've explained it. Full audit of channels, conversion points, and leaks; baselines set for CAC, conversion, and traffic across key pages; your first experiment already live.

  • Day 60: Three to five experiments concluded with clear kill/scale decisions. First redesigned product pages shipped through a repeatable process. You own one funnel KPI end-to-end and report on it without being asked.

  • Day 90: Your best-performing channel is scaling with a documented playbook someone else could run. There's a measurable lift in trials, activation, or pipeline that traces back to your work, AI workflows the team has actually adopted, and a prioritized roadmap for the next two quarters.
