Who is responsible

Michael Perevoznyk is the data controller for this site. For any question or request about your data, write to perevoznyk.m@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Nothing, if you just browse. The map, company pages, investor pages, and jobs board require no account and no sign-in. The site runs no advertising or third-party tracking scripts.
• If you sign in with Google: your email address, name, and profile picture, as supplied by Google. We never receive or store your Google password.
• If you fill in your profile: whatever you choose to enter — display name, current location, LinkedIn and X/Twitter links — and your job preferences (keywords, departments, seniority, employment type, cities, sectors, company stage, minimum salary).
• If you submit a startup or fund: the details you enter about the company, plus your name, email address, and your stated relationship to it, so we can follow up on the submission.
• In your browser: job preferences are also saved in your browser’s local storage so the filters survive a reload without an account. Signing in uses a session cookie. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

Why we use it

• To keep you signed in and show you your own profile.
• To build your personalised job feed — matching open roles against the preferences you set.
• To review company and fund submissions, and to reply to you about them.
• If we ship email alerts (see the to-do list on the About page), we will use your email address to send new roles matching your preferences. That will be opt-in, and every alert will carry an unsubscribe link.

Who else sees it

Only the service providers needed to run the site. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

• Supabase — database and authentication. Profiles, preferences, and submissions are stored here.
• Vercel — hosting. Serves the site and keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for a limited period.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• CARTO and OpenStreetMap — the map background tiles. Loading a map means your browser requests tiles from CARTO, which sees your IP address as part of that request.

Company, fund, and job listings on the map are business information gathered from public sources — company websites, careers pages, and public company records. They are not personal profiles.

How long we keep it

Your profile and preferences are kept until you ask us to delete them or delete your account. Submissions are kept as a record of what was added to the map. Local storage in your browser stays until you clear it.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with comparable law, you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or object to how it is used. Email perevoznyk.m@gmail.com and we will act on the request within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The site is intended for professional use and is not directed at anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects you, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Please check back occasionally.
